Non- Agitated Type Nutsche Filter With Cleanable SS316L Filter Disc
kumar process has designed unique Non-agitated type Nutsche Filters which can be used for filtration of anti-biotics, vitamins & pharmaceutical products in steriler rooms. Conventional Nutsche filters use PP/ Polyester cloth, which, could release fibers leading to product contamination. We offer cleanable, non-fiber/ particle releasing Sintered SS316L filter discs. This is a major advantage in applications requiring filtration of anit-biotics, vitamins etc in sterile rooms where ordinary centrifuge can not be used and use of conventional filter cloth is ruled out.
The design of our Nutsche filter allows easy handling for the user without having to call the maintenance team inside the clean room, thereby saving a lot of time during loading & unloading operation. Davit arm arrangement in SS in also provided for large units. The cleanable SS316L filter discs can be offered in any one of the std. micron ratings available with us between 100 micron & 0.5 micron to suit filtration applications covering a wide range of products having different filtration characteristics. The filter discs can be cleaned by water/ appropriate solvent wash & thus be repeatedly used for a number of years, which makes it highly cost effective as compared to conventional Nutsche filters using cloth.
Most of our assemblies are custom designed to suit the product being manufactured with respect to cake height, liquid hold-up, CIP/SIP requirements etc. All nozzels are provided with TC type sanitary PTFE encapsulation which are compatible with a variety of solvents. Other features like Sight/ Light glass, spray balls etc. are provided as per the customer's needs. Superior quality castor wheels are provided for easy mobility. The internal surfaces are electro-polished & offered with 320 grit finish to comply with cGMP.

We can retrofit your existing Agitated Nutsche filters & Dryers (ANFD) with our cleanable filter media. Hastelloy C22 filter media aslo can be offered for corrosive product applications. Filter discs as large as 2.6 m diameter can be offered in a single piece or as segments.
